Vasari Plaster & Lime Paint WARRANTY
Vasari Lime Plaster & Paint™ expressly warranties its applied plaster materials to be fit for the ordinary purpose for which they are intended for a period of at 20 years on interiors and 10 years on exteriors and showers from date of installation when applied in accordance with the current specification sheets. Sealers and other preventive maintenance could be required in harsher weather for exterior applications or demanding interiors.
Shelf life Do not store in direct sunlight and protect from extreme heat and cold. Store Vasari Plaster products in a cool, dry place. When properly stored, Vasari ‘wet mix’ plaster products’ shelf life is 10 years from purchase date. Vasari ‘dry mix’ plaster products’ shelf is 2 years from purchase date. Wet mixes should be stored with a generous layer of water on the top as to not dry out the material. The plaster might slightly thicken over months and years depending on climate conditions and colorant. DO NOT FREEZE.
Vasari liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement of products shown to be defective during the warranty period. Vasari reserves the right to require proof of purchase and to inspect installations prior to resolving claim made under this warranty. No other charges or expenses will be allowed or borne by Vasari .
Further, this warranty is void if the Vasari materials are intermixed with other additives, chemicals, sealers or materials not specifically required by Vasari specifications or if Vasari plaster finish is applied to any other materials or substrates other than recommended by Vasari.
No warranty is made for damage caused in whole or in part by wear and tear, accidental damage, impact damage or acts of God or natural phenomenon, such as but not limited to falling objects, fire, earthquake, floods, pests, chemical fumes in the atmosphere, nor architecture, engineering, defective or improper workmanship by the applicator, aesthetics, nor other damage or injury not solely and directly caused by defects in Vasari materials as covered under this warranty.
Vasari will take responsibility of all products damaged by freezing during transport. Vasari will not take responsibility for ‘wet mix’ plaster materials freezing and getting damaged if left at doorstep/outside by transporter during freezing weather.
Store all products indoors 50-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Keep layer of water on top of wet mixed plaster of. Do not let moisture permeate dry mixes. DO NOT FREEZE wet mixes.
Vasari products may experience some potential discoloration as patina as a result of continual dampness or wetness in some areas. The color of materials may get permanently darken as a result of natural carbonization of lime coatings.
No warranty is made for exterior grade products if the substrate, more specifically the cement scratch and brown coat, are not properly applied. Proper application may include professionally recommended curing times, waterproofing of necessary areas and structurally sound substrates.
Returns may be made for store credit or refund within 30 days of purchase. No returns on tinted plaster. Items purchased in damaged or non-functioning condition will be replaced with the same item or refund. All mail order return transportation costs will be paid by Vasari on defective products only. Customer pays for functioning returns Tinting of plaster will be within a 5% margin of error of the average color chosen by customer. Obvious tinting errors will be rectified by Vasari LLC with proof of error and purchase.
This constitutes the entire warranty agreement and Vasari LLC makes no other warranties expressed or implied with respect to the materials except as expressly stated herein. No such warranties stated herein shall be effective until and unless the materials subject to this warranty have been paid for in full.
